I had a short day today and forgot to grab my camera. I did get half of my Luxury Liner Pro down. I hope to finish with that tomorrow and deal with the distribution blocks.

Hard to get crap done when the truck is at the parents house and I want to spend time with my daughter.....

LMAO that was awesome.

Quick question about the sound deadening...I dont have to much experience with it since im pretty new to the industry and really only do basic installs. Aside from keeping music in and road noise out, what does it do for keep in cool air and keeping heat out?

Install looks great so far! I cant wait to really finish the install in my truck.

Think Thermos. Helps keep things the way they are.

Also, its not just about keep noise in or out. It adds weight, it keeps panels from flexxing or buzzing...it basically helps to make your vehicle interior "quiet" while in motion.

My additional 4ga wire came in as well and I was able to finish running most of the wires. All I have left is to make the battery connection to my inline fuse under the hood and run my ground wire to the frame.

But I was able and ready to put the carpet back in. It looks like it will still fit with all the crap I put under it....

Also got ordered another in line fuse for my HO alternator, and deadened the front passenger door. Didn't have my camera with me at the time, but I will take pictures when I do the driver side.

Didn't get anything done on Saturday as the wife wanted me to take her to the gun show.....ended up coming home with a new pistol for the mrs.

Sunday on the other hand -

All the hardware but the components speakers is in the truck. I still have some minor tidying of wire to do, but no biggie. Now for the pics.

Also, I know some have been very interested in these subs, so I figured a close up was in order

Went to fire it up and tune in the subs, and ........ nothing. Stupid batteries were dead. I've got em on the battery tender and will give it another go tomorrow after work. Who knows, maybe I can drive this thing again!!

Looks great man. My order of LLP should be here tomorrow. I'm going to use it in the doors...do you think it will stick pretty well with just the spray adhesive?

Everyone that I have heard of putting it in the doors has used liquid nails.... I didn't buy the adhesive and just cut mine and used tape. I still have a sheet that I may put in my doors, so I am definitely interested in your thoughts on this when you attempt.

So....I got the batteries charged up and only one amp would come on. I suspected that my remote turn on lead was the weak link.

Finally got my hands on a relay today and got all that hooked up. Power to all three amps!!! But now it is dark again. The plan is the get my input sensitivity adjusted and sub amps tuned in tomorrow and roll the seat back in.

Sorry for the lack of pics, but not a lot to see at the moment.

Got all the input sensitivity's adjusted today. Wasn't able to get the voltage I was looking for on the sub amps though. Not sure what was going on there....

Also had to trim the back wall a bit to get the box a little deeper into the recess. I definitely will be putting grills on my subs for sure as my seat will be resting on them otherwise.

Knowing that I still need to install my front stage before I can fully tune this thing in I believe I will be buttoning up what I have and calling this the end of phase 2. (Phase 1 being head unit and such)

I am VERY impressed with these subs so far........
