As far as deadening, if you can afford it, go with Damplifier Pro from Secondskin. If you are on more of a budget, Raammat BXT from Raamaudio is also a quality product yet more affordable. I've got some of both in my truck.

what did you use to seal the vents? and do you have after shots of the finished product?

First I taped Saran Wrap over it to keep the stickiness off it in case i ever want to unseal them. Then 2 layers of Duct Tape followed by 2-3 layers of deadener.

Yes its cheap and somewhat unprofessional, but its damn effective.

Here's the passenger side vent covered up, I only did half of the driver's side one to allow some air passage so shutting the doors isn't a workout and so the AC isn't stressed.

and no whistle by doing only half of the drives side vent right?

I would only use Dynamat Extreme or Damplifier/Damp Pro.

on a side note i wanna get a second zapco amp now for the subs lol
