Post Roofing Felt ?

Those that have used roofing felt instead of B-Quiet or Dynamax.. What do you use to stick it on? Is it worth spending more money for a name brand or would you recommend roofing felt?
thanks much for the info!

I had looked at using roofing felt for sound dampening as well, but changed my mind when I saw the price of B-Quiet. As mentioned in my sig, I've done the whole truck and have not experienced any problems. The install was very easy and I am well pleased with the quality. Check out $1.00 sample and see what you think. Roofing felt isn't a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the info Spyder207! I will probably just order the 90 ft roll and go for it. Thank you again!
