Question Will Pioneer's FH-P4400 fit in my 2000L?

If so, are there in modifications to be made?
Thanks

I just got done installing one of these and it looks/works great. Unfortunately, there is some cutting and trimming involved. Search this site under "double-din" someone has posted photos of the cutting inside the dash. Although the opening can accomodate double-din, it tapers down in the rear, so the 4400 won't just slide in. The cutting doesn't harm the structure of the dash in my opinion. You need a dremel tool with cutting discs to cut the plastic. Then, to bring the 4400 flush with the dash bezel you will need to trim the opening of the dash bezel, and probably file it to look really nice. Pioneer includes a trim ring that fills the top/bottom side/side gaps nicely. Then make some L-brackets. There are mounting holes on the 4400 you can mount to. The other end of the L-bracket can be screwed into the structural part of the dash, (black plastic) for a secure mount. The mechanical part of this took me 4 hours to get it all just right. For the electrical, Best Buy or a good stereo shop should sell an install kit that mates perfectly with the factory harness so you do not have to cut any existing wires. I also installed a 12-disc changer in the bottom of the console. I'll post pics when I can. Good luck!!
