Wanted:OEM 97 HU for use w/CDchanger
Howdy!
My HU has recently developed a problem with playing the left channel of a CD. If you tap the front or top of the HU, it will kick in, but when you hit a bump, it cuts out again. Do any of you guys that have rplaced your HU's still have yours? I have the factory 6 disc changer, and just need the head unit with cassette and cd. Thanks!

Mountaineerfan, Do you now if the head unit is the same as the one in a 98 Expedition. I think they are, but now too sure. If so I already have replaced it, and it is just sitting in a box in my garage. It has the cassette with the cd changer interference.

Eclipse 5962 in-dahs 6 disc cd changer (had to modify behind dash to install)
Accele TV tuner w/ 2 diversity antennas mounted on each power quarter window
Accele Hi-Fi VCR custom installed in front console
Alpine 8081 digital alarm with paging system
Coming Attractions:
Superchip
Air management system
JL stealthbox
and possibly upgrading to 20in rims
