B-Quiet Warning
A word of caution regarding B-Quiet sound deadener...It melts in hot weather!!! I did the back of my truck about two months ago and everything seemed fine until the hot weather hit. It has been 100+ here in Central California for the past few weeks. My truck seemed to get louder but I didn't think much about it. Tonight, I took out the rear seat back and lo and behold the B-Quiet that had been on the vertical back wall of the cab had literally slid down the wall in several spots. The bare spots were covered with an ugly, brown residue left from the melted B-Quiet. Also, the blie plastic covering seems to have shrunk, pulling the B-Quiet away from low spots where it been stuck down. I'm at a loss as to what to do...the stuff is kind of an oozing mass sliding down that back wall. Even if I get the main portion off, the residue will be hard to get off. My recommendation on B-Quiet has definitely changed to "Do Not Use in hot climates"
