Yes You can either go with an aftermarket type using a FM radio input or you can get the Ford one from www.radiosandmore.com or Ford.
It is my understanding that you can control a factory changer directly with the factory CD player.
There is a tread about this somewhere else that explains in detail if it didn't get cut with the 90day cutoff when they "redid" the site.

I'm not to sure about the factory single cd unit controlling a changer. When I ordered my 99 it wasn't an option to get both(single cd and changer). Maybe this was changed in 00, and the controls for the changer were added to the single cd player.

Cool

All the 99 CD players will control a changer even though this is not offered as an option in the book.
Remember our decks are used in several different Fords.
Found the tread
Read "WANTED: Ford CD changer" about 2/3 down this page.

Cool

For your clarification, Yes the single in dash CD player will controll the factory ford changer. Thanks to Dusty and another member's info (sorry I connot remember his name) I am now running that setup. Very easy upgrade, there is a socket in the back of the single CD to plug in the changer harness.

Cool

Ford makes a 6 disk CD changer available through Visteon. Another words, back to the dealership. Beautiful unit. I've installed a couple so far. It's the Ford radio, but instead of having a slot for one CD, it's got an internal magazine. You simply remove your radio with those wonderful Ford radio removal tools, unplug it, and plug in the new unit. You load CD's just like a shotgun. Just feed them in. Then you no longer have to worry about where to stick that changer. I'm putting one on my Christmas list. Best thing since sliced bread or the F-series.
