2004 Audiophile custom display

Hi all -
I have an '04 Lariat... all of a sudden the display which used to read the radio station name now reads portions of the song and/or artist. Can anyone help me on how to set it back?
Thank you.

If you're talking about the factory radio it has RDS capability - the station probably changed from displaying their name to displaying the song and artist info - several in Atlanta do. There may be a way to turn this on and off in the RDS settings but I'm pretty sure it's just off or on.

hit the menu button and keep going through until you find the rds option, then turn it off. Personally i prefer it, you can figure out all the info for the song so you can get it later.

Doesn't seem to have that option on the '04 Lariat..... sigh.

Should be the same format as is in my 06. When in fm radio mode, press and hold menu button for 3 to 5 sec it should activate the rds menu, Im not sure but i think its either on or off. Rds cant be accessed through the normal menu like the older models before 04 Hope this helps.
