CB PA System

Hey guys, I want to install a cb pa system in my screw. I'm not after the cb to be used as a cb, just a pa so i dont need anything too powerful or expensive. I also don't need people to hear me from a mile away(i have a JL AUDIO system for that lol) i just want to be able to talk to people! So with that in mind, what is the best way to make a pa system for about $150.00

Also, i need a list of supplies. like cb radio with pa funtion, pa horn, etc.

alright man just go to walmart and pick up the Cobra CB radio with PA function it was like $30 when i got it. and as far as PA speaker i picked up at a CB Radio shop here in dallas for about $20. all you need to hook it up is just a normal audio cable that runs from the speaker to the back of the CB. check my gallery for pics of the radio and PA speaker

Yeah, I went up to walmart yesterday but they were out of them so I came home and ordered it off line and it should be here monday. I'm going to run up to a local CB store and grab a 6" 10 WATT pa horn and wire everything up! I appreciate the help. The only issue is, I'm not sure the best place to put it on the 2003 screw.

Ok, you are half way there, may as well spend another $40-$50 and hook up an antenna to have full use of the cb

I just bought the same CB Radio for my F150, and I was thinking about mounting it in the same place.

Quick question though, how exactly do you run your wires through the firewall to plug into the fuse box? And how did you run your wire from the antenna into the cab? Thanks.

running wire through firewall

Big Rubber grommet next to Master cylinder on fire wall..its about 2-3 inches round.....its up high under the dash.you`d be best to run a stiff wire or coat hanger wire through first....then stick your hand up there and feel around for it....
