DVD Dillema
We are looking at a factory DVD player for the rail system in our '06 F150, and have lots of questions about the install. There seems to be a "plug" up in the rail system, and we are wondering if the DVD player just plugs in? We keep seeing posts about a "harness system", and wonder what that is all about. No one in Tulsa can order the DVD player for us (They tell us it has been discontinued) and tell us they are not familiar with the install. We are wondering how difficult it really is.

I believe it gets wired in to the lights up in the front of the overhead rail. Some trucks I think also have the wiring so you don't have to tap any wires and it just plugs in. Its a pretty easy install either way from what I have read. If you look online you can find them but they are expensive and would be able to get a dvd player cheaper than that factory rail system one. Moss Motors F150Store has the rail system on sale for 549 bucks.
