i have an 05 scab and have an older jvc home audio system. if i do some cutting i can fit the speakers/subs under my back seat but i was wondering is it possible to wire them to my cars audio. there is also an amp to power the pair of speakers/subs. if it is possible can i do it myslef easily, or am i better off taking it to a shop?

let me save you the embarassment, DONT GO TO A SHOP....
and ask them to do that anyway.

Just get some decent mobile audio subs and speakers. They dont cost that much.

Technically it will work... But home spks are in 8 ohm configurations. Most mobile electronics run on a 4 ohm load... Therefore you would only have 1/2 the power whatever you are using will run.

+1 Fabian. QUIT BEING CHEAP. Oh and seriously if anyone came into my shop and asked me to do that i would laugh at them. Save the embarrassment.
