CB Radio

Ok probably a Very stupid question but how the heck do I wire this thing correctly. I completely and utterly SUCK at electronic stuff (mechanical I have no problem but I don't think my brain is Wired [haha] to handle electronics). I have a Midland CB radio in my truck that is wired to a 12 volt plug that I stole off of a converter that we used to use to plug a plastation into the 12 volt. How do I wire this to the truck so that when I start it it runs and when I shut the truck off it turns itself off. I don't even know where to get started on this!

P.S. It works now so I mean if no help thats ok...just looking for something more permanent (I already screwed it into my dash so lol might as well wire the thing right)

Wire the radio directly to the battery. Make sure the wire that you will be using has a fuse. You will have less possible vehicle noise and a power source that won't choke your radio or harm other components.
