OK but something that came out in this mess is interesting to me. How much room is behind the seat back in my 99 s/c? Amps on the back wall sound cool. Anything to keep the street urchins from grabbing them from under my rear seat.

 

Like zero room. I had to cut the brace that runs along the back of the back seat back (thats a lot of backs there) out, plus put spacers and longer bolts between the back seat backs mounting tabs and where it mounts to the cab wall. You can see the spacers/mounting points in my gallery, I dont have a pic of the seat back brace cut out though. With all that done I can still barely stick my hand up under the seat back and stick it between the seat back and my amp. Room is very limited.

Bartak, quick few ?s...what are the switches for above your headunit? And any idea how to fix the cracked paint besides repainting?
