i know this doesn't exactly fit this forum, but i need some help! maybe y'all can help.
I'm very new to this MP3 thing. Here's what
i want to do: I have taken some of my audio cd's and converted them to MP3
through the Windows Media Player 10 and a downloaded Sonic Cineplayer. I've
gotten that done, and it seems as if when i group several songs together
(about 93 which the computer says is about 470 mb in size), I send them to
the "burn list," to record onto a CD-R, it shows the list, (which still
recognizes it as 470 mb), and as it begins to record them it says
"converting" and then about 15 songs later, it says "error, remaining space
cannot be determined due to some files not being time stamped," or something
close to that.
What am i doing wrong? Isn't it true that you can fit about 90-100 mp3
songs onto one 700mb CD-R?
Oh, and how would i be able to record those songs into "folders" within the
CD-R? My mp3 player in my truck has folders capabilities...i'm guessing
this means that you can record songs into categories or "folders" for easier
locating when you're playing them.

Never used the Cineplayer you mention but I find the easiest way is to use Nero to burn all my cds and dvds with MP3s. If you can get your hands on a copy of it, you will find out how easy it is to do all that you want to do.
I'm a nero fan myself... nudge nudge wink wink...
Do you have windows XP? YOu already have your MP3's made... just burn a DATA CD. It WILL work in any MP3 player head unit. XP has a built in burner if you don't wanna mess with new software. I think all you need to do is let the autorun initiate the process or you can even right click on the drive.
as far as folders go, yup, just "add folder" in the task section of the stuff to be burnt, drag your mp3's into them. There are many ways to do it. -drag the folders from your "windows" into the task window of your burner software.
remember DATA CD... with MP3's on it. you'll get your 100 songs!
