cigarette lighter wires...which is hot etc?
There are 3 wires for this thing...anyone know which one is hot and which one is ground?? It's on a 2004 F150.

Can you get to the back of it? Do you have acess to a multimeter or volt meter? If so, the center is the hot, the outside is ground. (Not real sure what the third is...)

Ncpwt is right. the 3rd wire is the illumination for the light

I want to say the blue wire is hot....but I would stick a voltage meter on it to be on the safe side.
