OEM 6-disc mp3 player

I have a 2004 F-150 with the factory 6-disc with mp3. My owners manual doesn't have information regarding the mp3 because it was a late '04 add in the dealer told me. My option is to buy an owners manual for an '05. I was wondering if anyone here could tell me how to save music to the mp3 in my factory head unit. I'm not really savvy on this, but hear it is a pretty cool option. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks!!!!!

Supposedly the unit can store music from your CD's in the system on a hard drive type unit if you have the factory mp3 player. I just don't know how to save it to a folder, I have the folder option but can't figure out how to save to it.

Not even close.

You can play MP3 CD's you make yourself.

The MP3's should be in folders, on the CD.

The folder buttons will allow you to browse the folders on the CD.

There is no hard drive in the unit.

Big irritation that I've come across--
If I burn my mp3's in separate folders/directories, it'll take a LONG time for the HU to read it in properly before playing anything. If I just burn them all with no directory structures, it'll spin up and play after a few seconds.

I had one CD-RW disk take over 3-4minutes before it started playing my music that was sorted under 1 single directory. I reburned the same CD-RW without the directory, and it spins up just fine...
