New guy need help removing 04 factory stereo

Can any of you tell me how to get the factroy stereo out of my 04 F150? Do I need to remove the trim or do you slide the DIM tool in somehow with the trim in place?

Remove the trim. Open the ashtray a little and pull straight out on the trim piece. Work your way up. The stereo is in there by 4 bolts. 10 min job.
