If you have pats in your truck and have done nothing about bypassing it here's what will happen:

The starter will turn over, the engine may even run and then shut off. It'll act like there's no 'spark'. Then you'll have a security light blinking in the dash.

And I'm getting none of that ... I don't know ... I'll have to look it over again on my next day off. I thought I had everything hooked up properly but evidently not.

stick your key in the ignition while you are trying to start it. That will determine if your problem is pats related...

Well we can conclude that it isn't PATS... I had the key in the ignition and pressed for the remote start, the keypad will sound off but nothing will happen.

Did you hook up the tach wire? -Did you test it for AC voltage 2-10 volts usually on many cars and it varies with RPM.

If not, you could use the voltage sense, but you'll have to program that too.

Tach wire is the most reliable way to go in my opinion.

You still haven't told me if your high current relays start clicking in their respective order whe you attempt a remote start - knowing this will be a great troubleshooting tool. Some, all or none?

The tach wire is hooked up, we tested it and it was the pink/white one and the voltage varied with RPM, I'm going to have to double check the wires in the ignition harness I guess... when I click the button for remote start I get two beeps on my keypad but nothing at all happens with the truck.

dude, you still haven't told us if you did the tach-learn procedure. Usually this requires you to start the vehicle and perform some function through which your remote starter reconizes the signal from the tach and adapts the remstart accordingly. This must be done BEFORE YOU TRY TO START IT WITH THE REMOTE STARTER!! If you don't know how to do this, contact the manufacturer...

also, your starter won't work if you've installed the hood pin switch and the hood is open...

I bypassed the hood pin switch and I emailed the manufacturer like two weeks ago and they never emailed me back, it says nothing about the tach learn procedure in the manuals so I haven't done it because I'm not sure how too... I'll fiddle with it tomorrow, sorry I can't give you any more information, I've told you all that I know.
