LOCKS:

Use the blue and green wires (cap the red), connect them to pink/black and red/orange in the drivers kick panel - actually I think they were up high along the firewall... or on a plug at the computer up there...

Lock = pink/black -----> green
unlock= red/orange---> blue

This is if you have factory keyless...

It gets worse if you have a factory alarm. Do you? then hold on with this wiring. There's a lot more.

If you don't know if you have the alarm, lock the truck roll down the windows, close the door, wait 2 minutes, unlock the truck from the inside using the button, if you get honky honky... you are going to be in for more work.

01FBomb, if you have factory alarm, IT WILL be easier to do the five wire lock system. If you don't you are going to have to diode isolate 3 wires(not including door triggers).

Ok, I'm gonna sign off here, there's too much speculation going on with me. I'll wait till I hear what you have. All this gabbing I'm doing now isn't going to help you much.

You do the asking!

Okay, I know for a fact that I don't have the factory car alarm... But I DO have the keyless entry. So I'm suposed to cap off that red output from the door harness? Right now I have it at a constant 12V. Also I've looked through my owners manuel front and back and cannot find a thing about programming for the Tach... I'll check again though. And Frostby I will scan the diagrams from the manuel Thursday when I go back down to the 'rents house. Again, thanks for the time and effort you guys have been putting into this... only goes to prove that nothing can beat F150online.

Oh, and I think after we get this whole thing up and running I won't just owe you a beer, I'll be handing you an entire case.

If you're using a new version of Internet Explorer or Firefox you just have to keep your arrow over the image for a few seconds and there should be a option that pops up that lets you view it at full size... that image in actually HUGE.

I think you should get ahold of the manufacturer and find out about the tach learn procedure...

I'd be happy to let you know, but I CAN"T SEE IT!

It's a little internet blocker called "Websense" nothing I can do to get around it.

Okay... as before...

"If you're using a new version of Internet Explorer or Firefox you just have to keep your cursor over the image for a few seconds and there should be a option that pops up that lets you view it at full size... that image in actually HUGE."

If you're at work and can't change the setting... try saving them and viewing them in viewer? Hope that helps.

near as I can tell, you just need to hook up the horn output wire. the wire it hooks up to is listed in the wiring I posted...

So would the PATS have anything to do with my remote start not working? Or do I even have PATS if I only have factory keyless entry and not the factory alarm? If that's the case, why the hell won't my remote start work? So many questions...
