That would be my retort to someone's opinion that I did not care for.
My response was to those people who instead of showing that they are good people chose to instead resort to the same bickering. If somebody does not approve of something they needn't bother lowering themself to that which they disapprove of; just let the person know you don't agree with them and move on.

This is where people show their true colors. It's like asking who you voted for in Texas or California. You might not want to hear their response but regardless their entitled since it was asked out loud.

If somebody posts on a public forum asking for opinions, they are going to get varied results and some individuals are incapable of explaining themselves so they resort to sarcasm; now that does not mean that their opinion should be trashed because others are not like-minded but rather that you acknowledge, accept and move on.

I agree with you that it was *****ty but I myself am a sarcastic ba$tard amongst friends (banter is my thing) and do not try and destroy a stranger for their opinion. I take it and move on, and they if they continue....new target acquired.

I agree for the most part Snappy, but it's that right to say what you feel (*****ty or praising) without fear of retalliation that makes me love our country. Let's just let people have their opinion and move on.

 

1) True, but one thing that really shines on this site, is the comaraderie and politeness shown to fellow members. There is no need for nastiness at all. What ever happened to "If you don't have something nice to say. . . ." ?

2) Sarcasm is a beautiful thing. Without it, my life would be very dull I suspect, but it has it's place. This Blaze guy wouldn't know sarcasm if it walked up and snapped his bra strap.

You make some good points about "to each his own" but I guess now that I've been hangin around here for so long - well, slightly over a year. I've come to recognize a lot of names, and know that some people here when they chime in have some really helpful advice. Like you for example, if I remember correctly you worked on some overhead speaker console,box,pods -something i've been dying to see what it is!(hint hint). And I respect your opinion, ideas, and even your projects. Deus has an awesome system that everyone wants to replicate.

I am beginning to take pride in this board, and it urked me that somebody new comes in with an immature attitude -I hate to see f150online turn into some bashing site-we're better than that. On the other hand I love those Gator vs Rob bashing posts, but they've earned it -
