little help please............
i was thinking of buying a used factory 6 disc changer for my 2000 f150 xl
is my truck wired for this ?
my factory radio has 2 plugins if that helps

 

I'm not sure, but I think it depends on the year model. I just pulled a 6-disc out of my '04 F-150, that I'm selling (if you are interested), and it has two plugs in the back, but I think it uses a different technology than all previous Ford stereos.

 

I am assuming that you have the tape deck with the "cd" button somewhere on the left....If so yes it will control a changer .... whether or not its wired is different story
