Dynomat the Floors??
I have a 2002 supercrew and want to sound proof my floors. My problem, I am scared to start taking things apart. Where do you begin?
Could someone please tell me how to do this? Maybe give me a stepwise process?
It feels like my carpet is glued down. Is it hard to get off? Does it slide after you replace it?
Thanks.

Its not that bad but have plenty of time and preferably a garage to do it in. I did the whole inside of mine, rear walls and doors with 2 layers and added another layer of carpet padding and it was well worth it. You may want to check out this maker as it works just as good in my opinion and will be much cheaper:

Mines been in for about 2 yrs and it still looks like I just did it with no smell, sliding or un-sticking.
You will have to remove all the seats, seat belt anchors, consoles door kick panels pieces and any other trim pieces that cover the carpet. The carpet is thick backed and pulls out in one piece. Clean the bottom out real good to remove dust, carpet fibers etc. Some require you to heat the product a little to make it stick better so that may be needed but the RAAMAT doesnt need this. It may be stiff if its colder out when you do it so warmer weather helps a little here.
You then will cover the bottom with pieces cut smaller in size to work with and roll them into place with a roller for good seal and air bubble remover. Heres a link for install of the product (or other brands) to give you an idea. You will want to go under any wiring harness that is on the floor and also mark all holes for the seats and etc as you go to make putting it all back in easier. It takes awhile and if you take your time the results are awesome. You then just reverse the order you took it all out and re-install it all.
