I have a 600 watt amp pushing my infiniy kappa. I was wondering how an Equalizer would help ? Does anyone use an qualizer just for a subwoofer?

EQs are installed between your head unit and amplifiers. They are intended to boost/attenuate bass, midrange, and high frequeny ranges in relation to each other. I don't see any use for using an EQ for just the subwoofer bass frequencies.

You can get amps with a bass boost feature that would accomplish what you are looking to do.
