I was wondering if someone could take a picture of their single disk Ford cd player, I don't seem to remember the screen saying "cd trk ?c" I don't know where the c after the track number came from or if it was there before?

RTFM.

The "c" stands for CD sound "compression" mode. It is described in your owner's manual. It does something with the sound for CD's (squashes the dynamic range a bit, I think) to supposedly make them sound better in a vehicle environment. In my opinion, it makes them sound worse.

Anyway, you turn the feature on and off by pressing the "5" button on your radio. That button also has the partial word "COMP" on it. The feature only works while playing CD's.

You're welcome. So, what is your preference? Do you prefer having the "compression" mode on or off ??
