Hows the 9813? Should I put it in my Lightning? No amps or anything extra other than fine speakers. Thanks

Sorry for the long delay, but I've been out of town with no access to the web.

I love my 9813. Great unit, solid features. However, if you can afford it, I'd get the 9815. If you are going to get the XM module, the 9815 does a better job of displaying the stations, categories, etc.

If you want to read a little info on the set-up required for both units, look at the thread in this forum regarding the 9815. I was the last person to respond to it regarding setting up the crossover, equalizer, etc.

Good luck and let us know what you do...



PS. If you are going to run components, you are probably going to end up wanting an amp...

I have the 9813, and i love it. I think it looks better than the 9815 also. If you are going to install it yourself, the cheapest place anywhere to get it is www.hookedontronics.com Good Luck!
