BUT is there enough space to put a box and still comfortable?

I KNOW I KNOW it depends on the size of the box, I have an Orion 10" DVC. Small small box. don't know CU FT required off hand.

will the seat go back all the way?

 

You can build a box with enough air space for one 10" and be able to put the seat all the way back.
