Question Factory CD Player?

Pardon my ignorance...but how can I purchase a factory CD player for my 2003 F-150?

I've tried the e-bay route, but haven't been successful.

Also, does anyone know what previous years will fit the 2003?

Thanks.

I think all the radios are about the same from 99 on. Get you a deh7400mp and save yourself some money and it sounds better too.

Have you tried checking with local stereo shops. I know I've seen many shops that have factory units for sale.. I assume they've removed them from customer vehicles and the customer didn't want them.

Question... why are you trying to buy a factory head unit?

If I were in the market for a new head unit I'd purchase an aftermarket unit rather than factory.

Ditto for Ebay. I had no problem. Search completed auctions as well.

$400 for the Mach3 Cd Player
$260 for the factory cassette player.

Umm can you say overpriced. Pioneer DEH-P7400MP
$240... 1 million times the features and almost half the price of the factory Mach3.

I see E-Bay sellers are selling the factory CD player for around $75... I'd still go with the aftermarket CD Player.
