Can someone post a pic of where a 6 disk CD changer goes in a 99 150 reg cab.

I just got a changer and I do not know where they factory mount it.

 

I have a '99 lariat Regular cab with the factory cd changer.
The changer was mounted upright, inside the storage bin behind the seat. It is on the passengerside about as far as it will go to the right. The storage bin has a rectangular hole cut into the bottom to accomodate the changer.

I don't know if the XLT had the storage bin with the lid....I had heard they were discontinued at some point.

 

I know when I bought my 2000 F150, the 6 Disk CD Changers were in the center storage compartment. I remember not liking that much at the time, as it didn't leave much room for items in the center console. Needless to say, I opted not to get the changer at the time. I am wanting one now though, but am looking at a changer that is part of the head unit, which to me was something they should have had from the beginning.
