Question Relocate the 6-Disc Changer?

I've got a SCrew with the 6-disc changer located behind the rear seat on the rear wall. I was thinking of moving it to under the geek seat of my bench front. Anyone know anything about the wiring of these changers (i.e. can it be done)?

While im not familiar with this exact setup, as long as you have enough wire you should be able to do this. Although I also dont know what a geek seat is or whatever you were saying. Best thing to do is get in there and look around.

Thanks for the response. BTW - the "geek seat" refers to the last seat someone would "have to" sit in if you're hauling 6 bodies (middle front).

I was wondering if anyone knew if there was "enough wire" to do this ... I haven't dug around yet to see the harness arrangement. I suspect that I may have to "jumper wire" it ... then you get into the issue of splicing or looking for connectors and then trying to do some creative wire routing.

Anyone ever physically traced the wiring for the disc changer?

Yean, if your going to move the cd changer from further away to more upfront, you should have enough wire if you can route it in the most effient way you can find.
