Hi Guys, I've got an Alpine head unit and was thinking of adding the 1/2 din Alpine EQ. The way the system is installed right now I have the head unit below the infamous pocket in the mounting adapter. If I add the eq I would like to move the head unit up so the eq would be below it. If I do so would I have to cut anything behind the dash to make things fit? thanks

 

You will most likely have to cut some material inside the dash opening. It's pretty easy to do with a roto-tool.

 

Yep use a roto tool to modify the stereo install kit. I cut out the cd pocket.
