subbox leaking air!

I took out my subs today to add some polyfill. when i put the subs back in the the boxs, air leaks out of the srew holes. i added a larger screw to one hole and that stop it from leaking. now another hole is leaking air. i tried putting in a larger screw and it didnt stop. anyone have an idea how to stop the leak.

thanks for the help

Put some silicon on the screws and let it cure before playing the subs.

I would just put some latex over the screw holes and let that dry a little then screw the screw down. If air is leaking around the subs make a line of latex around the hole and let it dry a little and then screw down the sub.

I doubt its the screws leaking, you need to put a seal around the speaker, some foam weatherstripping works good. Nothing too fat, just get the small stuff. If you have carpet under where the speaker seals your going to have a hard time getting it to seal.
