newbie wants 4.2L intake

i just got me a 2001 F150 and i love it!
I figure now it's time to start modding her. I want to start off with an intake, but i have a 4.2L engine and i don't think i have many choices. i know mac makes one. do i have any other choices? if so, are any of the other choices better? and if not, is mac a good system?
this is my first post so be nice!
thanks guys.

do you recommend any one of those 3 over the others?
i know lots of people have mac intakes, and i hear that af-1's are built well.
anybody have more advice to give?

Cool

i don't think we are sapposed to talk price on these boards. not sure exactly what the rules are. get ahold of mike T. in the computer chip forum and give him a call. his number is in his signiture. he sells them. his handle is ( superchips_distributor) good luck. FYI the AF-1 is one of the more expensive intakes.

LBC150 - you're right the admin is pretty strict with advertisements but if it comes to the suporting vendor I'm sure you can post prices without getting in troubles.

txf150girl - sweet! looking forward to it, IM me on: ThunderVicS (AOL) if you need any help uploading them, oh yea, I would strongly recommend using F150online.com photo album, most reliable way to post pix on this board. (and its Free, heh)
