I ordered mine thru Sport Truck Solutions in Ca. Price was $944 + $20 for packing + $106 shipping to NJ. Called several dealers here and the wanted more. That is without the install, which I did myself. As far as it being gel coat, they asked for my paint code when I ordered. Mine is painted black, not gel.

Andreir-
I got mine from El Monte Campers 10927 Garvey Ave. El Monte (626) 443-7913. I went to *******’s store in Long Beach and they quoted me over $1000 installed. The guy that sold it to me said that the rep from *******’s thinks he sells them too low, and that in Orange County they get $1200. He says that being in El Monte, a middle to lower income area, he can’t get that, so he sells them for $875. ($72 tax $947 total) I found one other place in Rancho Cucamonga that sells them for $850. The tax is also a little lower being in San Bernardino County, but the drive wasn’t worth it for me.

Dave Thibault-
As far as a carpet kit, I don’t know if they sell one. The X-2000 comes with carpet that matches my BedRug very closely. The whole package is going to be very clean, like one big trunk. When I looked at other lids with optional carpet, they were $70-$80. Some sales people suggested that I buy them without carpet and have carpet put in by an upholstery shop instead, as the quality would be better, and possibly cheaper. You only see the carpet when the lid is open, but the whole look is definitely worth it when combined with the BedRug.

I'm debating going with a hardtop or with something like a roll-top. Just how heavy are the tops if you have to take them off? I suspect mine would stay on 90% of the time. Thanks!

The ******** x2000 is HEAVY!!! Especially for our trucks. I would guess between 60-75 lbs. Definetly need two people to remove it. The one for the supercrew is lighter.....smaller bed, but not much. Shipping slip said 120lbs.
