Indiglo Gauge Install
Greetings to all!,
This is my first post, so be gentle, OK? I just purchased an Indiglo Gauge overlay for the gauges on my '01 F-150, but it didn't come with any intructions! The company sent me a photocopy of a generic install, but it doesn't say anything specific about the F-150. Has anybody ever installed one of these? HELP!
Thanks in advnace for the time and effort!!!

Dave

Welcome to the F-150 online Website,
I have installed them on mine, NOTE: not fun, but not to bad you have to take off your front of your dash to get the factory gauges out, do a search on the website here and you will find some tricks and tips on how to do so.
Basically take every thing off except the top of the dash on the drivers side, that will give you access to the gauges, then you have to take the clear cover off the gauges, then I took the factory needles off, and then the back ground "factory one" then installed the APC Indiglo dash kit in. then reinstall all parts.
Its not to bad but take a good day to do it if you have no mechanical capability. It may take you that long.
I would suggest since my needles are still not right, to take it to a professional to have them installed, it's alot easier that way, you just have to give up some of the $$$$.
