Leveling Kit

I have a 2005 F150 FX4. Looking to put in a leveling kit and wanted to know what would be the best one to buy. I've been looking at one made by hell bent steel. Any advice would be helpful...thanks.

Dont know the height, but they are 275/70/18 I think (will check later).

I did the kit myself, it didnt take long and was easy. Theres plenty of documentation on this site and they give you a instrucion sheet.. but if you dont know what your doing, get a friend to help.

Heres a better pic

I got my 2.5" from Hellbent Steel and it's been great. It took me about an hour to put on. If you've got the proper tools and know a little bit a trucks then you should be able to do it yourself.

Don't forget to do an alignment after. You will need one.

Just bought, but haven't installed the Bilstein 5100 leveling shocks for my '05. Have to get tires first!

I just got the HEAVYMETAL 2" lift/level kit (ebay) but I'm waiting for the OBX LT headers and 35" toyo's to arrive b4 installing. I'm thinking I might have to stick with my 285 BFG's until i do the 3" body lift but I'm still gona try sticking the 35/12.5/18 toyo mt on just to see how much rub there is.

On stock or aftermarket wheels? If stock, they should fit with just the level, with very minor rubbing at full turn. May have to trim the lower plastic valance.

I'm going with GEAR ALLOY BACKCOUNTRY (stock wheels too skiny for the tire at 8" I thought) not sure on the backspacing for these but now I'm excited that there's a good chance for them to fit. thank you for the info
