hids flash bright real fast then go dim and start heating up to maximum brightness. do they stay dim? it typically takes about 15 seconds for them to heat up and get bright.

This is what mine have been doing for the past +2 years (minus the 8000k color).

That's how most kits I've seen work (with some kits warming up faster than others). If yours are dimming I'd think there is something wrong with them? Contact your seller and see what they have to say.

sometimes, you have to upgrade the fuse tothe headlights at least 5 more amps, i have 12k on the navigator 6k on the f-150 and 8k on the impala, i upgraded the fuse on all of them by 5amps, and they are bright as hell imo.. illl make videos later tonight..

The fuse to the ballast shouldnt matter. If its not blowing your current fuse then it obviously isnt wanting to pull more amperage.

Either your bulbs are going bad or the ballasts are not producing enough voltage after ignition to keep the bulbs fully lit. (sounds more like the latter)
Both problems related to your kit, i would contact the seller.

I had a ton of problems with my xenon-link kit. A year after i purchased it, of the four ballasts i got, only one works to this day and finally just did different branded bulbs. 4 ballasts and five bulbs from them (head and fog kit) and only two (one fog one headlight) bulbs still work and only ONE ballast still functions normally. Just my personal experience. See if you can get some money back and ditch the crap HID kits.
Look up retrofit projectors on this site and do it right.
