I have always found that starting with cosmetic upgrades like tires, wheels, chrome etc, helps keep the inspiration going on whatever the project Im into. So I would make cosmetic changes first. Congrats on the bonus!

Getting rims and tires now is a bad option if your planning to lift. Why put small tires on your truck just to get bigger ones when you lift it? Wasted money. I'd go with what you stated if your looking for mpg. As for lift I'd def go fabtech with all terrains and 20" or 22" rims.

FIFY

Single most effective mod (within this budget) = Custom tuned programmer.

If paying it off isn't yer schtick (which is very sound advice btw), then invest the rest on maintenance as previously suggested.

There is Nothing more laughable than a loud, slow, unreliable, bling-infested pimpmobile slammed on 24's driven by a pimply-faced, ear-pierced snotnose poser

Already far too many of that particular genre on the steets.

Maintenance first, performance then looks and sounds.

i agree on paying it off. im 22 and it is good advice!

but i would do exhaust first. just get it from the muffler back from a custom exhaust shop. then put the rest towards the note.

If I were you I'd go with a Magnaflow cat back exhaust, a PHP CS with custom tunes, 2" Level, tint the side windows, the Gotts mod, aftermarket speakers and head unit. Save the rims and tires purchase for when you decide on your lift
