Help blown fuse!!!

Alright I installed the push button start in my truck today. Everything was working perfect until i put the truck back together. I blew the ignition fuse and replaced the 20A ignition fuse with a useless 4x4 relay (2wd truck) 30A fuse i need to know if this will hurt anything?????????

You didn't unhook the battery during install or did something else blow the fuse? Find a replacement 20A fuse because having a 30A in there, if there ever is a reason for the ignition wires to get too hot, it will melt your wires. You don't ever want to have a higher amp fuse than recommended because it will take longer to blow and find the next weakest link, the wires.

did this blow when you first went to test your new toy?? double check your wire runs to make sure you did not cross anything or pinch a wire when you were reassembling you dash.

No problem man.
Take some pics while you're out there. This will be my little project for tomorrow. Thanks
