Very nice indeed. I'd be double thinking the winch though unless you plan to put it down by the hitch.

I'm thinking hes prolly gonna put the winch on a plate that will just slide into the reciever hole of the hitch. seen it done like that and its good cuz you can move your winch from the front to the back when you need to

Big Philll is right, gonna fab up a winch plate, gusset the **** out of it, and build a mount so I can keep it in my toolbox

There is another thread somewhere around here of a member that did it too a explorer or something like that and it was where the gap is for the lower grill and its like yours hitch mounted so it can be taken out whenever and stowed so no one steals it and its also hidden pretty good

yea it was a explorer sport trac, i like the guard to cuz i wanted some front end protection

haha thanks! my buddy has a 5000 lb on his jeep and its pathetic and I want to have too much oomph rather than not enough. ok guys so i have a question. I will be making a removal winch system which will consist of some 2 inch square tubing and this plate from datin fab... http://www.datinfab.com/winchplate.aspx ... so ill weld the plate to the tubing and then gusset it, should I gusset it with 1/2 strap or 3/8 strap? Im up in the air on this, any help would be appreciated

That looks cool dude. I couldn't tell from the pictures, but did you sandblast that before paint? I really like you truck too it looks hoss.

ha! thanks nightmare. i've gotten alot of compliments about Great White but thats the first time anyone has ever called it hoss...lol. no sandblast just several passes with the grinder and wire wheel. im really happy with how it turned out. that krylon glossy black is good stuff
