Body lift falling apart?

I just so happen to look under my truck and saw that there were two pieces missing from my PA body lift. They are two metal blocks that were not screwed in on either side. The two on my right side have fallen off.... Is this a reason for concern? If you do not know what I am talking about here is a picture of the pieces. They are the 4 metal blocks on the middle. Mine do not look exactly like this but same concept. If you still do not know what I am talking about I will take a pic when the sun is out.

The instructions say to weld them to the frame. I drilled and bolted mine. Call PA and get two more or find a shop and get some cut from a section of 2x3 square tubing. I would check the other side to be safe.

It's called an overload spacer. Mine are welded in, and still holding fine. I do agree that they're not the best design, and if i got to go back and redo it, I'd bolt it in like stated above.

They were welded in, I can see where it was welded, but I guess all of them have came loose(bad welding job). I guess I am going to have to get some more and take it back to the shop who did it. Thanks for the help guys.

I wouldn't worry about it unless you have a ton of heavy stuff (500+) in your bed often. I didn't even install them in my ranger and I never had a problem with it being lifted for 2 years

The shop that did my b/l on my 01 Z-71 warranted the work for a lifetime that covers half *** installation. You might ask they might cover it with no cost to you, that is if its a reputable shop.

before i put mine in the bed would flex just with me in it... only reason i know this is because i made gap gaurds out of sheet metal and could hear it krinkle.

id definitely put them in!

i lost mine out of my Ranger too and every weekend id haul 2 to 3 mx bikes and never had a flex issue.
to the op get new ones if your concerned about it but drill and bolt them to the frame. the welds will always eventully break because of trying to weld light gauge steel (the spacer) to heavy gauge (frame) and the frame sees too much vibration for a low penetration weld
