Chrome Bulbs Installed

Got some chrome bulbs from Autolumination. I can't believe how much difference a little bulb makes.

Yeah, I like cheap things that make a big difference haha, now is there a way to un-orange the side reflectors?

Yes, either aftermarket heads or you can break the orange reflector in pieces with a screwdriver and take them out as chunks.

Hmm, I really want to get black headlights, so maybe I will just invest in some of them with the clear reflector, but maybe before then I can try to break the orange one out, I think that would clean the front end up a lot

That would come out looking clean?

So you could just stab a screwdriver into the slot where the bulb goes without removing the lens?

prolly be easier to take the headlight apart vs your stabbing method

you will see the indentation that the lens covers

Will the chrome bulbs pass for state vehicle inspection? I thought you needed the amber bulbs for the front turn signals.
They really do look good. Do you have a part # or an item # for them?

If you all are buying the Silver Stars online why not try your local parts dealer?

I picked up the set for 10 bucks and all the parts store carries them. It took longer to install the bulbs because of the limited area to work in than anything.

they do blink amber and when the parking lights on they are amber as well. Not a problem at all.

Why not just take your headlights apart and paint them yourself. At that point you can easily remove the reflector as it just snaps into place and determine if you like being able to see the cutoff or not.

The other thing you can do is nightshade the reflector.
