I still have to go down to the dealership and upload the info for the ac to work, need to do it soon since we hit 100 degrees today, good thing I have another car I can drive. I havent paid attention to the door chime but if its not working that may be a good thing!

I just wired in the message center switch, and changed the 3 leds in that to blue also and now I have the mpg, dist to empty, trip meter, timer , etc functions, pretty cool I love it! Im gonna take it to the dealer next week to have the as built data uploaded into it and then hopefully my ac will work, actually I think the ac is the only thing that does not work, I could probably wire in a relay or something and bypass the gauges for the ac but i might as well do the upload just in case the fluid sensors need to be enabled or something.

Wow that looks amazing. I'd love to do that to mine to match my Pioneer HU.

Sorry guys , I bought the gauges off ebay for like $107 so I think I just got lucky! I havent been here in a couple of weeks, Im gonna go and try to get the ac taken care of tomorrow, I will try and get a couple of photos of the gauges during the day, personally I think the stainless looks a bit better than the white the stock lariat cluster had the white face on it, it looked good but after I put the stainless one on everybody was like damn!

Overlays for FX4 cluster?

Do they make overlays for a 2005 FX4 to change the background color?

As I get older , it is getting hard to see the needles on the black background so I would love to find some white or stainless overlays!

Any ideas?

A company called Nu Image makes stainless overlays with either red or blue (I believe?) lighting... problem is they cost like $150-200 depending on where you get em.

hey man, awesome gauges!

question: The lighting on your actual gauge cluster, did you have to put LEDs behind the cluster too, or is the lighting on the cluster automatically the color of the numbers and needles?

I looked on your site, and very well considering buying one of those when i can afford it.
