Need louder alarm siren...or horn honk
Hey guys,
I bought a CA310 from KCAutosound and although it suits my needs, I wish the siren was much louder. Better yet, I wish I could get it to work with my horn. I had been in contact with Travis about hooking it to my horn, but after a few emails, he bailed on me. This was two years ago.
Anyway do any of you have any insight to hook it up to my horn? I remember there was some issue with our trucks being "positive ground" or some such...
If no help with the horn, can anyone recommend a louder siren?!?
Thanks!

I wish you wouldn't blast me on here. I did not bail on you. I specifically made a guide that I emailed to you back when you were asking about the horn. I'll post it here.
On the brain to your CA310 there is a little door that you must open. Under it you will find seven dip switches. Flip switch number six to OFF and this will turn your constant 12 volt siren output into a pulsed 12 volt positive horn output. You will then need to switch that output to a negative using a relay to drive your horn. The horn wire on your truck is a blue wire that is located next to your ignition wire harness. This wire will test ground when you hit your horn. Follow the illustration below to wire your relay.

Thanks for getting back to me.
I'm not going to get into a pissing contest with you but I left you numerous emails and voice messages in the past. To be honest I thought something happened to you. This most recent info looks very helpful and I will give this a try.
I will contact you directly if I have more questions.
Thanks again
