XEON HIDs?

Hey guys....

I see some of these kits (on ebay) that are like 10000K HI/LOW beam XEON HIDs.. balasts bolt in easy run to the battery and the bulbs go right in the unit and the other right into factory harness. Worth it? Any cheap substitutes? Keep hearing... http://www.futurevisionhid.com/ looks a bit pricey though... found some decent looking slim balasts kits on ebay for like 119$-179$ though. Any Ideas?

Be careful with the hi/lo HIDs. The hi/lo use HID for the low beams and a halogen bulb for the high beams. If you want both high and low beams to be HID, you need to look for the bixenon bulbs. Most will say that they are "telescoping" bixenons, which simply means that there is a small motor in the base of the HID bulb that moves the HID tube to simulate a high beam. You may want to check out the HID thread in Aftermarket Appearance Products.
