Alarm SYSTEM
Alarm SYSTEM
Hey guys,
Since i have put so much money in much truck and I will be leaving it alone for many days on a college campus, Ive decided to get a car alarm/remote start system. I've looked around and it seems that ebay has some that have some great prices. The one I think ive narrowed it down to is the: GSFK Alarm LCD Remote Start Security System 2300 B.
1. Do any of you know about this system?
2. it says it has a microwave sensor and that it sounds if the zone is violated, but would this mean that it will send out a warning beep first? most do i was just wondering.
3. Isn't 120 bucks a good price for a system with all these options?:
Ultra Long GFSK 2 way communications range
* Uses PLL-FSK technology. Strongest of all alarms
* 9,000 feet Longest of any alarm
* 3 km and 1.7 miles range longest of any alarm
Sensors Included
* 3D Shock Sensor Measures shock in 6 different directions, including tilt of the car.
* Microwave sensor measures motion inside and outside of car and sounds alarms if zone is violated.
LED Status Indicator
* To warn thieves an alarm is present
* Valet Switch included
Remote Engine Start
* Via remote
* Via inerior temperature
* Includes Turbo Mode
* Includes delayed start for Diesel engines if needed
* Smart Gear checking system for remote start
* Multiple signal detection (Oil, Tach, High Voltage)
Code hopping technology for Anti-Scanning and Anti-Grabbing
Compatible with factory security systems
Anti-Car Jacking Feature
Includes Auto Door Lock/Unlock
Automatic Window Rollup OUtpu
Door / Hood / Trunk Detection
Silent Arm / Disarm Feature
Automatic Dome Light Supervision
Remote Trunk Release
Programmable Auxiliary Output
4. Would the remotes have just a "vibrate" option? I wouldnt want it to go off during class if it didnt have vibrate...
5. here is the address if you all wanna check it out!
http://cgi.ebay.com/Car-GSFK-Alarm-L...3%3A1|294%3A50
Thanks so much please know if you can answer any of my questions! sorry this is so long... I just want to be sure to get all i want.

Page did not work for me. IMO sometime you may be paying for the name when you get a Viper system or something similar, but I also believe you get what you pay for. As far as this brand goes it seems unrealistic (as do most) to have that kind of range. Also I am not a fan of proximity sensors on the outside of the vehicle as cars routinely get parked close together at college in the tightest spaces. If you have your alarm constantly warning people to walk away they may get mad at it, lol.
