Do front windshield shades work?

These shade things that you can put on the inside of your front windshield really make a difference? I have tinted windows but also have a black interior. If they do is there any brand that or color that works the best or looks cool? Thanks

Yes, they'll help keep your truck cooler. If you've got tinted windows all the way around right now, that means that most of the energy entering your truck to heat it up is coming in through the windshield.

I don't know if different materials or designs really make much difference, I'd just get a cheap one to see how it works.

The one I have is reflective silver and folds up into a small circle for easy storage. I use mine all the time and it really does help keep the interior cooler, as well as keeping the sun from damaging the dash and fading the upholstery.

I had a 1994 F-150 and used a sunshade every day. My dash looked brand new when i traded it in for a 2007 SCrew. I believe in them 100%.
