HID help

HID help

i ordered 8000k xenon or (xentec) hid lights for my truck but i dont know what do to with these wire...any help very apprececiated. plz

look at the stock harness, the middle of the 3 wires should be black (ground). stick your black wire from the kit into the ground wire from the factory harness. one of the outside holes is your high beams the other is the low beams. stick the red one into one of the holes and turn on your lights. if the HID lights up, you found the low beam wire and your good to go, if it doesnt, you plugged it into the high beam and you need to switch it

should they be hard to put in?? seems like i have for FORCE them in...

most if not all of those HID kits are universal so it probably wasnt made specifically for your truck. i know when i did mine, it was a little looser then i was happy with so i put a little electrical tape on them just to hold them in place. if yours are so hard to get in that they wont go in at all, you may have to cut the factory harness and those wires that came with your kit and crimp the ends together.

Just did this install myself. Every time I tried to push the pins in they bent over and wouldn't go in. I snipped the pins off, and the factory plug and hard wired them together.

one side will be hi beams
middle is ground
other side is lo beams
and i have done this before
u might need to file the pins down a litttle bit
just makes them go in easyer
