Make sure there's not a lot of light around you, like a garage light or something, then take your flashlight, turn it on and point it at the rear view mirror. Watch the side mirror when you turn it on, it'll start to get darker and darker. Then when you shut off the flashlight it'll return to normal.

When the sensor in the mirror detects light, it sends an electric current through a special layer in the mirror that aligns photons inside of it, making it darker.

thats awesome. . .idk if i have that or not

I think pretty much all cars from the early 90's on have it. It's a really common feature, just take a flashlight outside, get in your truck and turn the ignition to the on position, point the flashlight at your rearview mirror. If your side mirrors get a lot darker that's the eloctrochromatic layer going to work.

No problem. If you buddy wants, he can email the seller HID4U and ask to purchase replacement bulbs in 6000k. I think they are 15 bucks each so 30 total, a cheap way to swap to 6000k if he wants.

are these two kits truly plug n play? I am totally lost when it comes to splicing wires and messing around with the electrical and id rather not make a test run on my lights .
-I have heard of problems in other threads about the connectors you get in the kit not fitting right with the f150's, has this been a problem with any of your kits?
-Also whats the difference between the Bi-Xenon Kit and the Xentec kit? Excuse my ignorance...

H13/9008 6000K Bi-Xenon Kit (Hi/Low) Dual
H10/9145 6000K HID CONVERSION KIT

If you can plug a light in the wall then you can install the kit. Yes they are true pug and play. Only need ground and positive. Bi-Xenon you have Hid's in the high beam and low beam. Don't know too much about the Xentec kit; sorry.

Which intake is it? Is it the new ram air intake? 3" or 3.5" what are you asking for it?

Are the bixenon HID kits from HID4U plug-n-play? I would rather they plug right into the factory bulb harness.

Yes it's the new ram air intake but I returned back a while back they accepted it as being defective and I got my money back. I don't remember the diameter but it was very large. Thanks for asking though.....
