im in the middle of wiring up some new train horns and i have to wire it to an "accessory" so the compressor will turn on when i turn the key. what do i plug this to??

any 12v sorce that is switched on when the ignition is. i know in the 2005 the cigarette lighter will work. or the radio. you could even just wire it to a switch then hot wire it to the battery and just flip the switch to turn the compressor on. hope this helps!

i did the same thing, wire to an acessory , but be careful, my battery died the other day because wen u go to start the truck, u usually put the acessorys on, well the compessor would turn on, and i could see my battery gauge depleteing, and it would srtuggle starting up, so right now i just took out the fuse for now , until i could install a flip switch or something of that nature. just fyi.

where did u get her, hornblasters? if so which 1, i got the conductors speacial, and it is amazeing.

 

Did you at least use a relay for the compressor?
