Exclamation What's a good brushguard??

I'm looking into putting a brushguard on my 99 F-150, and was wondering what everyone opinion is about which is the best. I've heard good things about Manik and Go Rhino I think it was. Living here in NJ, out in the boonies I hit a lot of deer with other vehicles. My baby has hit one deer and that was at like 10 mph....very minor and not very noticable damage. I want a brushguard that's going to take a beating and keep it's shape!

-----------
99 F-150 extended cab. Black over gold. 4.6l V8 w/K&N filter. Lund bug deflector and Vent shades. Factory installed tonneau cover and nerf bars.

I love my Ranch hand rover guard,
Mines a 4x4 and it uses factory tow hook mounting locations but I know they make it for 2x4 also. www.ranchhand.com I think is there page. I bought mine from the local store cause they are made here in Texas.

Solid as can be, Real metal all welded and Baked on powdercoat.

Cool

Ok, not trying to SPAM here or anything, but I do work for a shop in Englishtown, NJ. They can get just about any brand. I have a Grizzly, stay away from them. So, so cheap. I have been impressed with the Manik's and they don't seem too pricey. I don't own the shop, but merely am a subcontractor for alarms and remote starters. It's called Kodiak Customs, it's in Englishtown, NJ. There are also some other shops around. There is Sand & Hill on rt. 130 in South Brunswick, Grizzly up near the Meadowlands. Shop around. All these shops will install for you too. Good luck, and remember, stay away from Grizzly.

Sycoholic- Thanks for the warning. Englishtown huh? Haven't been there in a while....used to go to the drag strip all the time. I'll look into those places that you mentioned! Thanks again!

Cool

Go Manik and go happy. It seems like the perfect fit for a F150.

I heve the Rhino with the step on the bottom that you can stand on instead of reaching over and scratching fenders during maintanence. Highly recommend it. Black powder coat Put it on last Sept and not a sign of rust. I had chrome once and it was always rusting somewhere.

Just my .02---Bob

Cool

If ya go to Kodiak, tell 'em Warren recommended them. But don't forget to try Grizzly up by the Meadowlands. I'm not too familiar with them, but have seen some of their trucks at shows, and wow! Sand & Hill from what I'm told tends to be a bit $$, but check it out for yourself... I didn't think they were too bad.

Has anyone had any experience hitting deer with the Ranchhand guards? I live in deer country in the high Sierra and have hit deer with other cars - not a pretty situation. Our small town of 12000 has over a dozen body shops. I want to be able to survive the surprise jump at hwy speeds w/o damage.
